The Nanticoke Post 6 Patriots came out of the box hot, as K.Ci Widdowson and Jordan Haddaway started off with singles, then following a sacrifice bunt by Evan Nibblett, the Pats had 2 on, with one out.

Justin Gray singled home Widdowson, but a good play at 3rd by Smyrna's Jared Gillis got the 2nd out. Smyrna got the 3rd out but the Pats led 1-0.

A couple of 1-2-3 innings and the score remained 1-0 until the bottom of the 3rd when Pats Pitcher Tyler Deford gave up 2 walks  to start the inning, then, with 2 outs, Jeremy Carrow singled to drive in two runs to take the lead.

Smyrna added an insurance run in the fourth, but they were able to keep the Patriots from scoring the rest of the game as Enterminer scattered 3 hits and struck out 6 to get the win. Hunter Barr came in with 2 outs in the 7th, struck out Jordan Haddaway to earn a Save.

K.Ci Widdowson batted 2 for 2 with a run for Nanticoke, Brendan Davis batted 2 for 3 with a run for Smyrna.
