Delvets Bats Win Another This time over Post 25

Delvets used runs in the top of the 7th to bust open a 1 run game and take the 10-6 win at Middletown High. Jack Rossi pitched 6 strong innings allowing 4 runs to go along with 8 strikeouts. Kenyon Motley had 2 hits and 2 runs scored, while Zach Frame had 2 hits and 3 RBI to lead the Delvets offense. Canal Post 25 was lead on offense by Nate Arterbridge, who had 3 hits and 4 RBI, including 2 HRs.
 

Post 1 Bats Stay Hot

Post 1 Shuts out Post 14

Post 14 came up to visit Post One on a beautiful summer night to take the hot bats that haven't cooled off since the 1st pitch of the Post One season ... 
 
Starting LHP Steven Mann had a night on the mound for Post One as well - striking out 12 and only giving up 2 hits through 5inns of work ... the game was over after the 5th as the 10 run rule was implemented.
 
Post One barrage of hits started with its lead off hitter James Baffone as he took the second pitch he faced well over the RF fence for a home run ... James was also a triple shy of the cycle on the night before he was substituted for his cousin Brandon Baffone who was 1 for 2 with multiple rbi of his own. Multiple Post One hitters had hits including a 3 for 4 night by both catcher Tyler Satterfield and 3rd basemen Todd Gilardi. It's was a tough night for Post 14 pitching staff as they sent T.Lohman , Balcerak , Lewis and Evans to mound in 4inns of work.

Walk-off Win for DE Post 1

The 2 Post 1's play a Close One

Breadon Scherer and Todd Gilardi combine pitching efforts on the mound last night for a rained out scheduled makeup game from last Thursday @ St. Mark's and hurled a 3 hit 3-2 walk-off win from the bat of Post One catcher Tyler Satterfield ...in the bottom of the 7th inn w/ 2 out after Breadon Scherer ( who remained in the game to play LF) after a solid pitching performance reached 1st on a single -stole 2B - then reached home to score the winning run after Tyler Satterfield hit a double to CF.
 
Post One had 8 hits from multiple players last night including a solid triple in the bottom of the 6th inn off the bat Jack Szczerba ... Quinn , Riechard and James Baffone all helped the cause with singles of their own off of DelVets starting pitcher Jack Rossi who went 6 2/3 inns of impressive defensive backed baseball.
