Nanticoke Post 6 Battles Back to Defeat Fox Post 2

Braydan Graham and Jordan Haddawy provide the margin of victory

Nanticoke Post 6 took a somewhat comfortable 4-1 lead into the fifth inning behind Evan Nibblett, but in the fifth, Fox Post 2 scored twice as Nibblett walked two, and got a strike out.

Tyler Deford then came on in relief, and gave up a single to Post 2's John Campisilia, then walked in two runs to get Post 2 within one run. In the Bottom of the Inning, Jake Rogers singled in an insurance run, and the game was 5-3 in favor of Post 6.

But in the top of the 6th, Fox Post loaded the bases on some timely hitting by Sean Quirk and Tommy Pomato, setting up Miguel Rivera's 2 RBI single which tied the score.

In the Bottom of the 6th, Gabe Wescott led off with a single, stole 2nd and advanced on a passed ball to third. Braydan Graham sacrificed Wescott home as the Patriots re-took the lead. 3 Batters later, and the Patriots had the bases loaded for Jordan Haddaway, who stroked a double into left field, scoring 3, stretching the lead to 9-5 in favor of the Patriots.

Jared Kay came on in the top of the 7th and two foul ground fly balls to Jordan Haddaway, and a strikeout, and the Patriots had their 5th win of the season.

Miguel Rivera of Post 2 had 3 RBI's. Post 6's Jordan Haddaway stroked a 3 RBI double, but Braydan Graham was 1 for 3, but had 4 RBI's in the game.
