After two innings of a defensive dual, Joey Lungen lifted Post 25 to a three-run lead in the bottom of the third with a homer over the left field fence. John Weglarz added to Post 25’s offense with a two-run homer over the right field fence in the fourth inning.
Post 6 answered back with four runs in the sixth inning highlighted by Justin Gray’s two-RBI double, only to be countered by Aidan Riley’s two-run homer for Post 25 in the sixth inning.
Post 6 manufactured two more runs in the top of the seventh, but fell short of matching Canal’s strong offense.
Mason Keene pitched five innings of one-hit baseball for Post 25, which played a key factor in Canal’s victory.
