Post 10 sweeps Post 7

Diving catch in outfield saves game 1

Tied 2-2 going into the 6th,  Post 10 scores 2 runs to take the lead.   Post 7 rallies in the 7th to score a run to close it to 4-3 and with 2 out in the bottom of the 7th, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, left fielder Brad Kaden makes a diving catch on a sinking line drive to end the game.

Zack Lesher led the way for Post 10 in game 1 with 2 hits and 2 runs scored.   Will Geppert had 2 hits including a double and Blaine Hansen also doubled for Post 7.

Starting pitcher Josh Venti got the no decision  going 4 2/3  striking out 7.   Brown came on in relief to pick up the win striking out 4.

Cameron Beulah went the distance for Post 7 on just 82 pitches yielding 7 hits (all singles) , no walks and 2 K's.   

In Game 2, Post 3 jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the 2nd inning on consecutive RBI singles Cameron Beulah, Jimmy Kucharzyk, and Will Geppert but Post 10 pitcher Holler settled down and allowed just 1 hit, a double by Ethan Hurd, the rest of the way in earning the win.

Post 7 starting pitcher, Ryan Bishop,  threw 3 scoreless innings before the defense imploded allowing 2 unearned runs in the 4th.  Bishop was relieved by Bryan Bullock in the 5th,  but 3 more errors allowed 5 runs to score (1 earned) before the inning ended.  The 6th inning wasn't much better defensively as Post 10 pushed 7 runs across (2 earned) to cruise to a 14-3 mercy rule 6 inning victory.

Post 10 collected 9 hits, 4 walks, and took advantage of 8 errors en route to the victory.  Hansen had 3 hits and Warrington had 2 to lead the offense for Post 10.

Holler went the distance for Post 10 collecting the win while yielding  just 4 hits while striking out 9.
