History

Stahl Post 30 is one of the oldest and most successful teams in the Delaware American Legion Baseball program. Stahl Post 30 formed in the 1950's, but their team inherited the New Castle American Legion Baseball tradition that begun in the 1930's.

The team plays on the only field in Delaware actually owned by an American Legion Post. The Facility, named Wilson Field after the man who built it, is also the home field for Wilmington University, and several youth leagues.
