Errors, Walks and Good Hitting puts Smyrna on Top.

Post 25’s 7-game win streak was abruptly halted at the hands of Post 14.  After leading 5-1 after two innings, seven errors committed and 10 walks allowed by Post 25 let victory slip away as Post 14’s bats continued to hammer out hits, along with aggressive baserunning.

Mike Carrow had three RBI’s for Post 14; and Brendan Davis, Brandt Penuel and Ryan Seymour all scored three runs each for Post 14.  Mikayle Holloway, from Post 25, homered over the left field “monster fence” at Middletown, and had two RBI’s on the night.  Brandon Rohrer doubled twice for Post 25.

Post 14 pitch counts:      Enterriner (39), Ridgeway (62)
Post 25 pitch counts:      Garrett (57), McDermott (67), Weglarz (36)
