There's a new "Dawg" running the Nanticoke Post 6 Patriots in 2019.

Shane Heinicke, a long time Baseball Manager from Laurel has stepped up to the challenge of rebuilding a team that graduated most of its players last year.

For his coaching staff, he's tapped B.J. Hitchens and Joe Booth, both well known around Sussex County High School Baseball.

After tryouts, and a few practices, the Patriots have a few familiar faces, and several more new players from Seaford, Laurel, Delmar, and Greenwood.

The Post 6 Patriots play their home games at Seaford High School, but open on the road in 2019. They will also travel to Hurlock before the season for a 2 game set with the Legion Team there.
